14 Year olds drinking, having sex and taking drugs. WTF?
March 26, 2008So heres the deal.. I was flicking through the box as you do and stopped at the news to see what was going in when a report comes on about how a group of 14 – 16 year olds rented out a hall and they were drinking, having underage sex and taking drugs. I mean what the fuck is going on with the chav side (the magoritory of the country)? Ok if your 16 your legally allowed to have sex thats fine but why do it in a hall with loads of people there what the fuck? This links to what the government is trying to do to stop Anti Social behaviour… There’s all these youth clubs to try and get kids off the streets yet now they tend to aim for younger people thus forcing more teenagers onto the street? I used to go to the local youth club for a white until I was told I couldnt go anymore as I was too old and the age group was being lowered. Why do 10 year olds need to go to a youth club to get them off the streets? Surely they can be inside playing games with their parents? But even so the parents don’t want anything to do with their 10 year old kids they just chuck them out on the streets for other people to deal with. But they are not out on the streets late in the night drinking themselves into a coma. Where as the teens that are being pushed out are doing so. Its absolutely stupid. Also another factor of this is the lifestyles and surroundings that these stupid people grow up in. Im 16 and go to college, I’m almost 17 and can almost start driving and at College they say if you act as an adult then you will be treated as an adult, fair enough and that is the case but these little shits expect to get away with everything however it is not just themselves to blame. It’s the stigma that once they hear the word ‘alcohol’ they link it with the concept of being rat arsed, from personal experience I go out to the pub every few Fridays and have a few pints but don’t get so rat arsed and cause mayhem on the streets, as I can respect people want peace and to sleep at 2am in the morning when there all kicking off and smashing bus shelters down the road. This countrys going to pot, the government needs to organise things for 14 – 17 year olds to do as there is shit all to do and they feel like the only place they cant have to their own is the streets….

trudat, homess.
Very interesting. Makes me glad to know that not every 13-17 year in this country is an arsehole. Apologies to you non-arseholes out there but i’ve seen very little evidence to contrary the last few years.
Love Old Moo x
OMG Chris, that is actually amazing. I wholeheartedly agree with all of the hings you have said and it is really disappointing to see such a world power (at least we used to be) become overrun by chavs and a basic lack of respect.
i personally have two solutions (as extreme as they may be they’ll probably work):
1) If by the age of 16 you have a bad criminal record (at least 3 offences), you should be sent to do 2 years of compulsory military service. This would treat them to some discipline, respect and it would get them off of the streets.
2) Worsen the state of this countries prisons. Currently they are a f*cking joke with the TVs, Gyms, Visits and such. These things need to be cut out and be replaced with hard labour, and the food/drink needs to be no better than bread and water (or an equally sufficient substitute.) This will strike fear into the youths that run the streets and think that prison will be easy if they get there. Of course, rehabilitation will occur in the prisons but it will be hard for them.
I heard on the radio the other day that we should make all prisoners run on treadmills (to create electricity like hamsters) for 8 hours a day to help this countries energy problems
Now this is over the top but something like this definetly needs to be done.
Good blogging
Firslty I agree with a good 90% of what you have posted.
I admit I go out and get drunk now again, but I manage not to acquire myself an ASBO die to kicking in bus shelters etc; it really isn’t that hard. It all comes down to youth culture.
I’d like to quote “to organise things for 14 – 17 year olds to do as there is shit all to do” there is! As you will know Chris I am an Air Cadet therefore attend the Air Training Corps. This organisation was introduced for that purpose and to also help teenagers develop new skills that will help them in later life. Since I joined the corps I have gained so much: I am a fully qualified first aider, I have a BTEC in aviation studies, I have been flying on 8 separate occasions as well as gliding twice. I have been on camps both weekend and week long, where I have stayed on RAF bases and have had a huge insight into what it is like being in the RAF. Yet still despite this I still find my self on numerous occasions being on the receiving end of abuse from little ASBO’s like those you were discussing earlier. It has gone the extremes of me having to get all the cadets inside due to the youths of today throwing bricks, rocks, and metal objects at us! Where is the need? is it just me or isn’t there?
